About Roxanne Louise

20190518_Teach.HypnoEx copy.jpegRoxanne Louise is a Hypnotherapist, Stress Management Expert, Dowser, and Reiki Master. She divides her time between private practice, teaching classes both locally and at national conferences, and writing books. She is known for her ability to integrate multiple modalities for a powerful synergistic effect that enables profound healing not possible with one modality alone, and in a way not previously done by others.

She opened her business as Unlimited Potential in New Jersey in 1989, with offices in Fairfield, Montclair, West Orange and Roseland until 2008. She opened a central Virginia satellite office in 2002, which became now full-time and is now based in Faber, VA, located just 20 minutes south of Charlottesville in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Roxanne Louise is prominent in the hypnosis and dowsing world in America as evidenced by the following:

Roxanne Louise has made an outstanding contribution to Reiki by being the first to fully integrate the principles of hypnosis into Reiki for a full Mind-Body Healing approach in 1992. She has also made a significant contribution to the field of dowsing in adapting pendulum work with hypnosis for mental and emotional healing, and was the first to do this starting in 1992.

Before starting Unlimited Potential, Roxanne was a professional classical singer for 20 years, performing on every major hall in NYC (except Avery Fisher) and many music festivals with many world renown groups. She sang in the professional chorus of NYC Opera, NYC Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, Netherlands Ballet, Bach Aria Group, Ars Musica, Friends of French Opera, Little Orchestra Society, NJ State Opera, and many more. She was a full fellow with Aspen Music Festival for three seasons. She was orchestra and oratorio soloist with multiple groups throughout the greater NYC region. She taught singing for many years, and wrote a small volume on classical singing technique. She was also Executive Secretary to the Orchestra Manager for the Metropolitan Opera. She studied with world reknown artists and voice teachers in NYC, Boston and Maine.

Before that, she worked several years as the professional vocational counselor for the State of Massachusetts in Boston, a vocational consultant to a local jail, and college dormitory mother in Portland, Maine, a caseworker in NYC Department of Welfare (Chinatown, Bowery and the Lower East Side), and a high school social studies teacher in Newark, NJ.

Roxanne is a graduate of Montclair State College, NJ with many courses taken elsewhere: the New School for Social Research, NYC, University of Maine, Boston University, Harvard Extension, among others. Her hypnosis training is more than 2000 classroom hours, which started in 1987, and taken with the finest professionals in the field.

Today Roxanne continues to write, work with client, lecture widely and is available as a trainer or seminar presenter anywhere in the world for sufficient enrollment.

In 2009, she started Back to Basics–Creating Sustainability and Conscious Community to assist local people develop resiliency. The group has had multiple meetings per year, some field trips, and Roxanne wrote frequent extensive newsletters full of helpful information for a few years. Meetings are nolonger being held.

In 2013, she founded Central Virginia Dowsers for training and ongoing support committed to creating a strong, vibrant dowsing community for the practical assistance, healing and enhancement of the individual members and the community at large. Meetings are held in Charlottesville with workshops in Faber. Roxanne is also on the Education Committee for the American Society of Dowsers. As of January 2017, she has been running Dowsing Support and Continuing Education Teleconference Calls during which she and another dowser discuss and teach various aspects of dowsing on a monthly basis. As of August, 2017, she also has been interviewing a prominent dowser  monthly for Discover Dowsing Teleconference also for the American Society of Dowsers.

    I found you through the ASD. I am a native of Central VA and have many connedtions in that beautiful area, I am hoping to connect with you possibly in person when I returm for a visit at the end of this month and beginning of the next.
