Thank You for Being an Asshole!

The following was written last year, but left as a draft. I am sending it along now as it may have relevance for someone regardless of the time of year.

Thanksgiving is a traditional time to think about our many blessings and focus on gratitude for the many wonderful people in our life.

And while it is easy to be grateful for good things, I have learned to also be grateful for when someone has crossed that unspoken, invisible line that enabled me to finally end an unhappy situation or relationship–the one beset with problems I was tolerating, but which lacked sufficient justification in my own mind to leave until he/she/they did the one thing that could not be forgiven. Had they not done that,  I might still be there unhappy and frustrated for more wasted time.

Maybe it was a job that seemed to be dead-end. Maybe you were passed over for promotions. Maybe someone was cheating on you, repeatedly treating you with disrespect, taking advantage of your kindness or generosity as if they were entitled to it, or taking you for granted over and over – expecting much but giving little in return. You didn’t speak up, stop it, or walk out for some reason until ….

Whatever it was that was the final straw–the one more time too many to gloss over, to forgive, to pretend that it wasn’t happening, or that it wasn’t that important, the one more time it became apparent that trying to talk about it and work it out wasn’t ever going to work–that one more time, no matter how upsetting or painful, was precisely what was needed to get you to rise up and say ‘NO MORE! That one more time finally precipitated decisive action that led to your growth, and, yes, something better. And that is why I can be grateful to the jerk that got me moving because in the end it turned out to be a BLESSING!

Just asking ‘yes’ and ‘no’ questions does not take into consideration all the shades of grey. You do not get enough information. For example, “is this supplement good for me?”, doesn’t tell you if it is 5%, 10, 20 up to 100% beneficial. But if you asked, “on a scale of 0-100, to what degree would it be beneficial for me to take one tablet of this supplement today?” Or let’s say you are considering purchasing some books, but your wallet does not allow you to buy all, or you have limited time, and need to focus on what is most important right now. Instead of asking “should I buy this book?”, ask “”on a scale of 0-100, what the percentage of potential value I would get from reading this book within the next 6 months?” Then ask the same question of your other choices. Then you might ask “how likely am I to read it?”

Coming April 17: “Creating a Circle of Support”

This past year of lockdowns, masks and social distancing has made people starkly aware of the soul’s very need for connection as essential for mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health. It is the longing for touch, for hugs and kisses, for sharing a meal, for celebrating life, for sharing our joy as well as our concern and even our grief. The soul longs and needs to be in a supportive community with loved ones and those of like mind as we journey through life. And yet, governmental restrictions have taken away much of our ability to meet this essential need. Instead, communication has been relegated to brief telephone or video calls instead of spending hours in each other’s physical presence sharing our thoughts and energy.

What can we do when normal communication and live physical connection are shut off?

I have found ways through Reiki energy work, meditation, hypnosis, as well as dowsing to connect to some others on a spiritual level. In so doing, I have been able to not just to communicate, but to feel the immense love and support that is still there for me from deceased friends, loved ones and gurus. This connection has been immensely healing and comforting. In some ways, it has been even better than when they were alive because the love you feel from them is an immense glow on the INSIDE. I can offer how I have been able to do that.

In meditation I have created a circle of support to connect on an etheric level with others I admire and respect — people who are of like mind, and like me, striving to make a positive difference in the world. It has greatly enhanced my ability and resolve to go forward and do more and better what I am here to do. It has given me hope and strength. And I also believe it multiplies the positive healing intention I aim in projecting out to the planet.

Just as Lynn McTaggert has demonstrated through her book, The Power of Eight, that people when joined together through prayer or intention regardless of their physical distance to one another can create miracles, I propose that you can connect to others on the etheric level to do the same thing. It is not the same thing as being together physically, but it is ALWAYS available to us.

Dowsing is an art form honed from years of figuring out what to do to correct erratic dowsing results. As Roxanne reminds you of the basics, she will focus on those factors frequently missing so that you can increase your accuracy.

Dowsing is a multi-part process that adapts artfully to any subject matter and situation. It starts with identifying & clarifying what you want & stating it clearly & specifically in a positive & present tense. If something has been stopping you from reaching your goal, you will need to clarify what those issues are, and then dowse on how to overcome each aspect, and then do so. Each goal may involve some normal research, education or prior understanding about the subject matter. You need to know what questions to ask. You may need to develop a game plan or dowsing protocol to follow. Then action needs to be taken with your dowsing results. This may mean making decisions, shifting energy, or taking direct action. And finally, you will need to monitor your results, refine & repeat the process until you obtain the results you want. In this seminar, we will go through the above especially focusing on areas not usually discussed or on those areas in which you have been stuck.

What is mine to do?

Following on the heels of my earlier post, ‘From Fear to Action‘, (https://unlimitedpotentialhealingcenter.com/2020/11/01/from-fear-to-action) is the question:

“If I am to take back my power and citizen oversight on those agencies, companies and organizations that influence or control any aspect of my life, what is mine to do? Where should I focus my energies?”

Another question might be: “What is my role to play on _____ (making this world a better place, helping to insure the health, liberty and general well being for my children and future generations to come)?

Start out by thinking about an area of your personal life, family, business or environment that is most important to you. Maybe it is already negatively impacted, or information has come into your awareness where it could be. Perhaps that area is in good shape, but you want to ensure that it stays that way and even make it better.

You might start by affirming that somehow you already know the answer. I start with the phrase “There is a part of me that knows ____” (or knows how to ___), “and that part is ____ in a way in which _____.” Then I just let the affirmation roll around in my mind without having to know what the answer might be consciously. And yet, over time of reaffirmation, you will notice that synchronicities begin to happen – you’ll be in the right place or time for things to start falling into place.

Examples: There is a part of me that knows what I can contribute to help make a positive difference in the world. And that part is bringing to my attention where my time, energy and unique gifts can be best utilized right now.”

“There is a part of me that knows what I can do in simple, everyday ways to make a positive difference in the lives of ___ (animals, children, children with ___, victims of ___, etc). And that part is guiding me now to be in the right place and time to do so.”

“There is a part of my being that is guiding me now on clear, practical steps I can take to best train and prepare for the contribution I can make in the field of ____. It brings everything that I need — information, resources, network, mentorship and/or technical assistance, etc. – all at the right time and way .”

Let’s say you have children and most interested in their health. Because vaccines are required by law starting at birth, you might want to inform yourself about them. Are these vaccines including both those that are currently required, those proposed to be mandated, and those that are optional are safe and important to have?

If this is an area in which you want or feel a need to get involved, you could affirm: “There is a part of me that knows how I can get the most accurate information on vaccines and the suggested vaccine schedule so that I can make the wisest decisions to both promote and protect my children’s health.”

If you later find yourself becoming alarmed about what is being mandated for your children and you feel the need to work for change, you might make an affirmation like this:

“There is a part of me that knows how I can work to change vaccine mandates so that the final decision and authority to vaccinate a child or not with any specific vaccine or when it is administered, be returned fully to the decision of the parents as guardians. This part also also assists in ensuring that parents receive full and accurate disclosure on the risks and benefits for each vaccine, and on the impact of bunching multiple vaccines together at the same time. Everything I need in order to be part of successfully assisting in this area is coming to me now.”

If you don’t know what is yours to do, you can jot down some ideas, and dowse them out. “Is there something I need to investigate? If you get a ‘yes’, make a list and dowse out. Or you could ask “do I need to get involved (or more involved) in the area of ____?” Ask what your soul wants you to focus upon. Get a percentage of value of spending time and energy on any possible project.

Focusing on the children – their health, mental and emotional well being, and education – is always a good place to ensure a positive future.

This basic phrase “there is a part of me that knows” is infinitely adaptable to every situation. All of this is fully explained with tons of examples in my 117 page book, Accessing More – Tapping into the Wisdom Within with the Infinite Intelligence Process).

From Fear to Action

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

Sudden change as this year has been precipitates massive shock, fear and paralysis. And yet, it is dangerous to both our health and liberty to remain there.

Even if you had the skills and knew what to do, it is too easy to want to let ‘the other guy’ handle it, to hope someone else to come up with a solution and fix things for us. After all, isn’t that the job of government and it’s agencies? Aren’t they supposed to protect us? Isn’t that why we are paying them?

Let someone else stop the corruption, the tyrannical mandates, the overwhelming and deliberate propaganda and lies, the loss of our freedoms, and the rapid disintegration to a less moral and civilized society. Let someone else march in the streets against the shutdowns, the destruction of properties and livelihoods, the decision to force the placement of very sick people into nursing homes. Let someone else file a lawsuit against media censorship, or right to assemble, or hold religious services.

Who is going to stand up and refuse to cooperate with any number of abuses of power by tyrannical or corrupt politicians or governmental agencies? Where is the shining white knight on a horse who is supposed to ride in and save us? Can’t he see that we are all damsels in distress? that the dragon is near? And isn’t government supposed to protect us?

At some point, it becomes obvious that it is we that will need to save ourselves.

So take a deep breath, perhaps many deep breaths to pull in sufficient courage and strength, claim the ground we walk upon, to stop going along with the Covid response program that is highly misguided and controversial at best, and a major power grab at worst.

But in addition to the health crisis, we need to get involved and declare what we will and will not tolerate in terms of the mass corruption, moral decay and downright evil occurring in our own neighborhood. This is going to take corrective action that goes way beyond elections.

We must access our inner resources by listening to that still, small voice within that guides us in making wise decisions, and connects us to our true spiritual guidance. We have immense potential power as sovereign, spiritual beings. As we come to know this, we access the courage needed to take firm, needed action.

What follows is a message I heard this morning from my own spiritual guidance. Messages with such energy come in very infrequently. I am myself highly skeptical of channeling even that of my own. So use your discernment. Most of the words/sentences were transcribed verbatim of what I heard. A few sentences were formed by me although the information was from my Source.

“Don’t be afraid. There is a lot of work to do by everyone. Nolonger can you (all of you) let someone else oversee the schools, the governmental agencies, the politicians, etc. There needs to be a more active role by citizens in some area of their concern.


So if, for example, someone has children, then they need to get involved in overseeing any government mandates regarding their children such as mandatory health directives, school books, curriculum, etc. 


By relinquishing control, you have abetted tyranny by thinking that more capable people were watching out for you. But they were watching out for themselves and betrayed the trust you put in them.

Part of this was because you were busy, overwhelmed, sometimes lazy, distracted, and not wanting to do the work. We understand. It is more fun to watch a movie and have a glass of wine, and that is fine in some measure. But in with fun and time for rest, there is a need for responsible oversight of government and it’s agencies, corporations, media, education, drug manufacturers, and, yes, religion, and any with power or influence over your lives. Form citizen action groups according to an area of your concern – whether it be health, human rights such as freedom of speech, assembly, etc. 

It is time to take back your power and citizen oversight. No political leader or representative can do it for you.

Doing nothing to stop the runaway train to tyranny is being an accessory to the crime, and later it’s victim. The time for action is now. You have the power to refuse to cooperate. Do this enmasse. Your numbers are part of your power. Follow Rosa Park’s and Gandhi’s example. Peaceful non-conformity. Then work to envision and work towards a different society. Be aware of what is happening, but then look in a different direction to focus on creating something different, something better. 

Take heart. We love you.”

“THOUGHT & EMOTIONAL CONTAGION” with Roxanne Louise & Cynthia Brush-Pires.

Emotions follow thought. Both are transmitted on the psychic airways to which all of us are more or less sensitive. Thoughts and emotions that are shared by a large group of people we call ‘Mass Consciousness’. An example of Mass Consciousness are the happy feelings and general goodwill felt around Christmas morning. Whereas the consciousness experienced on 9/11 was one of shock and grief.

Right now with the upcoming US Elections, the Covid lockdown, and destruction to our freedoms and livelihoods globally the Mass Consciousness is a mixture of fear, anger, hatred, sadness, and worry about the future. The news and social media have been largely responsible for the fever pitch escalation of upsetting emotions.

Sensing energy is part of our survival mechanism – one we share with all creatures in nature. Sensing energy is important for us to understand, help, negotiate and communicate with others. But being aware does not mean taking on the burden or debilitating effects of the highly charged feelings of fear, hopelessness, depression, anger, etc. There must be a way for us to be aware, yet sufficiently detached so that our common sense is not erased by mob hysteria.

We must maintain our personal sovereignty by staying grounded, centered, and connected to our inner wisdom and true spiritual guidance so that we can think clearly and make wise decisions. Stand in your power and increase your energy field. Music especially Hemi Sync, Tibetan or crystal bowls are helpful.

It is very important to become conscious of the thoughts that underlie our anxiety and other emotions. Trace those back to their origin. It is possible to utilize various tools to transmute and heal them even without knowing the details, even if they are not yours, even if they come from another time or place long forgotten, even if you absorbed those belonging to your ancestors, your tribe or group, even if they are deeply imprinted in human history.

There are many ways to deal with this constructively through intention, meditation, prayer, dowsing, hypnosis, energy healing modalities, gratitude, looking for the good, and loving relationships. Mass Thought & Emotional Contagion

Sensing Energy

You walk into a room, building, drive down a street or enter a neighborhood, and for some reason, start feeling different than before. Maybe you relax and feel a sense of peace, happiness or safety. Or you start getting agitated, scared, creeped out, depressed, or simply uncomfortable. There may not appear to be any obvious or rational reason for it, but you can’t deny that you are sensing or reacting to something. What?”

Vibes can be sensed over long distances. They can wake us up from sleep. They are particularly strong when we have a close connection to specific people (as when a mother knows that her child is in danger), or to any group of people with whom we feel bonded, identified or associate. Perhaps you walk into a group of people and instantly feel something is wrong. Then you find out that they had been arguing and the hostility was still ‘in the air’. As we say you could cut the atmosphere with a knife!’

We call this “Picking Up Vibes (see article here), and all of us exhibit an sensitivity to and awareness of it in varying degrees .

While I feel that picking up vibes is part of our human ‘survival system’, I also feel that it is possible to remain aware of the ‘disturbance in the force’ without being negatively impacted. In other words, you can be aware that it is raining outside without getting wet inside. The awareness helps you prudently put on a raincoat and take an umbrella if you must go out.

The problem is not in perceiving uncomfortable energies, but that such non-beneficial energies sometimes stick and are difficult to shake because of being in a weakened state, whether physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually.

This weakened state might come from both current as well as past issues that are not yet resolved. We call these things Triggers.

The cumulative effect of whatever is triggering you or weakening your system makes it harder to gain perspective, and deal with those issues. It also makes you vulnerable to other stressors as well as to other outside energies that drain your energy further and feed off and aggravate the very non-beneficial thoughts and emotions you may be trying to heal.

Weakening agents include:

  • Fatigue, exhaustion, lack of sufficient sleep and pushing beyond your limits.
  • Other health issues including illness, toxicity, inflammation, lowered immunity, poor diet.
  • Overwhelm, worry and stress in your personal life. Concern for loved ones or yourself.
  • Worry, grief, fear, anger, depression or upset about the suffering, cruelty, corruption, ignorance, injustice, and evil that you perceive or hear about in local, national, world conditions and events.
  • Your own unhealed emotional wounds, limiting beliefs and judgments.

Like attracts like. 

If you have not healed your own issues and trauma whether experienced by you personally in this or another lifetime, inherited or absorbed from your ancestors or group with which you are identified, you are more likely to be negatively impacted by whatever is mass consciousness is broadcasting through the psychic airways. (A mass consciousness is any strongly held thought/s or emotion/s that are shared by a large group of people.)

However, once you heal (and you can do this multiple ways), you are less impacted, and in a much better place to respond effectively if a response is appropriate.

General Rule:

Anything that depresses your spirit or challenges your health makes you vulnerable to being impacted by bad vibes.  

But the reverse is also true.

Anything that lifts your spirits and enhances your health can strengthen your energy field and make you more resilient to non-beneficial energies, stress, and able to deal, in general, with problems or challenges of any kind including detrimental thought and emotional contagion.

What else helps?

Dowsing, hypnosis, meditation & a host of energy healing modalities such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), TAT (Tapas Accupressure Technique), and more can heal triggers and issues. It can lessen or eliminate unnecessary, unrealistic fear. It can increase awareness of both inner and outer resources, and focus attention on gratitude. It can connect with inner wisdom and spiritual guidance. All of these have a huge impact upon your peace of mind. So can it lessen the mass consciousness of fear? anger? depression? and other detrimental emotions? Well, the short answer is ‘yes’.

Why People Get Sick

Anita Moorjani

I was listening to Anita Moorjani, author of Dying to Be Me, outlining the five reasons of why she thinks people get sick. Note that she does not list germs or genetics. Rather it appears that she considers that problems in any of these five areas allow a disease to take hold. By correcting them, it enables the body to heal.

  1. Mental/emotional/spiritual reasons. Moorjani lists them as one group because she considers all three of the to be intimately connected. Spiritual includes lack of meaning & purpose in your life.
  2. Poisons or toxicity
  3. Physical injury or trauma
  4. Malnutrition
  5. Lack of physical exercise

While I agree with Moorjani, I would add the following other factors:

6. Detrimental energies arising from natural sources & manmade technology : such as geopathic stress, radon, EMF, 5G, dirty electricity

7. Detrimental mental/emotional energies directed at you personally or just saturating the environment: such as the mass contagion of fear, anger, hatred, jealousy, depression or ill will; psychic attack, black magic, curses.

I add #7 as a separate category as the disturbing thoughts or emotions that weaken your energy field, disturb your peace of mind and, thereby, contribute to disease may not originate with you, but rather be part of the overall psychic atmosphere affecting the general population. Empaths are particularly vulnerable. This detrimental psychic pollution is so pervasive right now because of Covid 19 & the upcoming US elections. The stress is palpable and can be felt ‘in the air’. In short, the detrimental thoughts and emotions of others may be as risky to your health as are poisons in the food you eat, the air you breathe, or water you drink. I call this ‘Thought Contagion”, and it needs to be addressed.

What influences health outcomes?

We all know that good healthy self care is highly protective of our health, and so too are love, social support, fun, compassion, gratitude, stress management, and forgiveness. We also know that if you give the body what it needs, and if you remove the blocks to healing, the body will endeavor to move back towards health.

Moorjani brings up yet something else relevant to the healing process: empowering or disempowering thoughts. Not only is it important for the patient to believe he can heal, but the beliefs and attitudes of the healing practitioner as well as that underlying the medical paradigm you accept and that is practiced by your healing professional are all important.

Growing up, Moorjani was raised simultaneously in three very different cultures each of which had their own different medical model: Indian Ayurvedic medicine, Chinese medicine, and Western allopathic medicine. Of these three, she said that the Western medical model was disempowering because it puts the doctor exclusively in charge of the healing results. Unlike the Ayurvedic or Chinese model, Western medicine does not educate, actively involve or support the patient in taking corrective action in any of the relevant five areas responsible for his health condition. Rather, it tends to give a picture of the patient being a victim of overwhelming, powerful germs or genetics for which he is neither responsible nor capable of correcting himself.

A further problem of Western medicine is in how a diagnosis and prognosis and are delivered to the patient. While medicine understands the ‘Placebo Effect’ – the positive healing that results because a patient believes a substance or procedure will help him – there is also the opposite power of a detrimental suggestion to cause harm. In hypnosis, we call this the ‘Nocebo Effect’. Unfortunately, it is all too common with medical professionals in predicting dire prognosis.

What a medical prognosis really means.

  1. A medical prognosis relays what the patient can expect if he employs or doesn’t employ the recommended treatment protocol that the doctor suggests, usually surgery, drugs, or special medical procedures such as radiation or chemotherapy.
  2. A medical prognosis means that ___% of people experience ___ outcome when doing nothing to correct the issue, and ___% of people experience ___ outcome when employing only the doctor’s recommendations. It doesn’t reveal what medical outcomes the patient can expect from other modalities alone, or along with receiving allopathic medicine.
  3. As soon as the patient adds something else to his healing protocol, the prognosis improves. So it makes sense for the patient to incorporate a multi-prong wholistic approach to correct all the areas that might have made the body susceptible to disease in the first place. And he should do this even if allopathic medicine is going to be the primary treatment. This multi-prong approach can include nutrition, sleep, detoxification, herbs & supplements, prayer, meditation, stress management, loving connection, life balance, fun, meaning & purpose, exercise, time in nature, and multiple other healing modalities. It can address relationships, mental & emotional issues. As these other areas are outside of the medical training & expertise of most physicians, it is the responsibility of the patient to seek additional help.

The prefix ‘dis’ in the word ‘dis-ease’ means ‘opposite’, ‘be in absence of’, ‘deprive’, ‘expel’. Whereas ‘healing’ means to ‘make whole’, ‘correct, restore’. As a person restores the various areas of his life, so that he is once again ‘at ease’, his health improves.
