Integrating Hypnosis & Reiki

Mikao-Usui-2How can integrating Reiki with Hypnosis be a great help to both Hypnotherapists and Reiki Practitioners?

Have you ever had a client who fell asleep during hypnosis and didn’t hear a word you said?

  • Want a quick technique that causes instant trance?
  • Gets the suggestions quickly implanted deep into the unconscious mind?
  • Works regardless of whether the client fell asleep or is only in a shallow level of trance or none at all so that the suggestions work anywayeven on
    • infants,
    • children,
    • elderly,
    • people with narcolepsy or a
    • low attention span,
    • those under anesthesia or
    • in a coma, and
    • even those who don’t speak your language?
    • And can even be used for animal communication?
  • Would you like a technique that works beautifully with the
    • highly analytical,
    • “unhypnotizable” or
    • difficult client?
  • Would you like an additional tool that relaxes even the most difficult, stressed person?
  • Do you want something more to
    • enhance healing,
    • build stamina, and
    • reduce or remove headaches,
    • muscle spasms, cramps, and
    • other pain with your clients?
  • Want powerful techniques to heal the
    • inner child,
    • past traumas,
    • painful relationships and more,
    • some that are even content free?
  • Want a powerful way to do
    • soul retrieval,
    • soul integration?
  • And would you like an additional business that is compatible with
    • hypnosis,
    • pain management,
    • stress management,
    • past life regression,
    • shamanic work, bodywork,
    • counseling, or
    • animal healing?

You can do more to help your clients through the power of positive suggestion and visualization in the same bodywork session?

  • Reiki can be used to do powerful, emotional release work on yourself and others!
  • Replace negative thinking with positive mental reprogramming!
  • Release blocks or reasons for self-destructive habits and behavior!
  • Get rid of negative beliefs or judgments!
  • Instill positive new beliefs and habits!

Reiki is sometimes preferable and more powerful than straight hypnosis.

But together they create powerful synergistic effect on all levels of body, mind and spirit. Reiki can be done on yourself or others. All life forms benefit.

Even before adding hypnotic languaging, visualizations or interventions, Reiki significantly

  • speeds up healing,
  • reduces or eliminates pain,
  • stress,
  • detoxifies the system,
  • increases circulation,
  • stamina,
  • improves digestion
  • and sleep,
  • calms the nerves and
  • mental chatter, and
  • improves overall well-being.

Some problems just seem to melt away without discussion or intervention. Colds and flu became nonexistent for me several years following my first Reiki class in 1990. But combining the two modalities make an unbeatable healing tool.

Self use of Reiki and hypnosis has

  • saved my life more than once and has
  • severely reduced the negative consequences of accidents, illness and other challenges.

It has made a

  • profound difference in my personal growth,
  • emotional healing, and has
  • deepened my spiritual life.

 Reiki–Path to Transformation – 3 volumes

These books were originally written in 1992 and revised continually since. The latest version is 2017. They are still current and important as they bring the best of both modalities together in a powerful, easy to understand and practice way.

I was the first to teach HypnoReiki!

Putting the two modalities together as early as 1990, and writing about it soon after, certifying people across India in HypnoReiki, and teaching how to integrate hypnosis and Reiki across the United States at multiple national hypnosis conferences and also throughout India since 1992, I believe I was the first to partner these two modalities! However, I did not trademark the name, and another person came along and did so.

Integrating Reiki with Hypnosis

Learning Reiki in 1990 while operating a hypnosis practice, I immediately started integrating it into my work with hypnosis clients more and more. When a Reiki client came for hands-on-treatment, I would use only an abbreviated hypnotic induction or none at all because the Reiki energy itself creates a hypnotic state. I then followed with offering helpful hypnotic suggestions and visualizations appropriate for them as I was working on the body. Then after the hands-on-work was done, I might have them sit in a chair, do the Reiki mind-to-mind reprogramming technique (a traditional Reiki technique I greatly expanded with hypnosis) while summarizing the key suggestions already given and possibly including a hypnotic intervention technique as well.

When my hypnosis clients came into the office with a physical complaint,  I would briefly explain Reiki and ask if they want a spot energy treatment. Then even while I was conducting the intake, or later when it is time for formal trance work to begin, I would continue to either do hands-on Reiki or distant healing while also doing the hypnosis. The Reiki would help reduce their pain in and of itself.

If a client fell asleep during the hypnosis session, or I just wanted to make sure that the suggestions were firmly implanted, I would do the Reiki mind-to-mind reprogramming technique that I pioneered. Sometimes I elected to only use this technique instead of a hypnotic induction with certain people–especially those that were highly analytical, very young, or with people who had narcolepsy or were hard of hearing.

HypnoReiki Miracles

In a free hypnosis lecture, a man in the audience wanted me to show how Reiki creates trance. So he volunteered to be my demonstration subject. He had just won a sizable workman’s compensation settlement as a result of permanent injury to his Achilles heel that prevented him from climbing ladders as a roofer. Spending just 5 minutes or so with him doing this mind-to-mind Reiki reprogramming technique with key suggestions one of which was “I release all blocks known and unknown to my full healing now”, enabled him to be able to again walk normally–an amazing healing!!!

Another time after doing a Reiki attunement, I did the Reiki mind-to-mind reprogramming technique to help a woman who was scheduled for biopsy on her breast. I guided her through a visualization to imagine the growth shrinking while giving her positive suggestions. She felt a ‘ping’. Then when she went to the doctor that same day, the lump was gone!

I did this technique with a client that alternated between anorexic and bulimic behavior. The amount of energy flowing through my hands as I was holding her head and neck was so intense that I had to stretch out my arms and stand as far away from her as I could. I could easily tell from the heat which of my hypnotic suggestions or interventions were having deep impact, and which not so much, when to keep them going, and when to move on. This went on for 45 minutes. After that session, her binging and purging, which was several times/day, cut in half. After the fourth session, she was able to go through Thanksgiving with her family (a challenge to be sure) absolutely fine with no such behavior!

At another time, I had a 4 year old brought to me because on chronic ear infections. Again, I chose the Reiki mind-to-mind reprogramming technique with suggestions of various options for her to be able to reduce or shut out what she was hearing that she didn’t want to hear, which were family arguments. These options, such as walking out of the room, telling others to be quiet or shut up, putting her hands over her ears, would still allow her the ability to hear what she did want to hear. I impressed upon her how important it was to have good hearing so that she could hear “I love you” , nice music, birds singing, and other wonderful things and sounds. Her mother told me that before they reached the car after the session, the child’s ears started draining, and there were no more infections after that.

With another client, I did the mind-to-mind communication technique for the purpose of soul retrieval. This woman had experienced a lot of trauma during her lifetime. After the session, her previous narrow face had visibly broadened and her color was much improved.  Other positive benefits were noted at the time.

Make a powerful, healing difference!

While I am not claiming that such miracles occurred with everyone, it is incredible it happened with anyone. You can never know when what you say or do is precisely what someone needs that allows them to heal, to shift, to throw off the weight of trauma or injury. Words can have a profound impact, so it is important to learn how to use them to do so in the most healing way.

Telepathic communication is an important part of healing work.

The unspoken thoughts and images, expectations and beliefs, whether positive or negative, supportive or not, that a therapist, physician, teacher, parent, spouse, or any person in a position of authority, influence and/or rapport has about a person has a powerful effect for good or ill. Hypnotherapists regularly undo the effects that negative suggestion has had on their clients. Reiki practitioners and healers of other stripes likewise need to learn how to do this also. But all need to telepathically transmit positive beliefs and expectations to their clients. You can learn how to deliberately make a powerful difference with Reiki distant healing combined with images, and the Reiki reprogramming technique.

And by the way, if you do not believe your client can improve, you must, in all fairness to them, refer them out!

Language and suggestion can heal or kill.

This is the subject of the placebo or nocebo response in medicine. It is not enough to have good intentions. Reiki practitioners and bodyworkers of all kinds need to learn the basics of hypnotic languaging because energy work creates hypnotic trance. This means that anything you say or that they hear while you are working on them and shortly thereafter while they are still super relaxed is taken in much as if it were hypnotically delivered. You can do great good or harm. My books can teach you to only say things in a way that is helpful.

Reiki can telepathically help someone mentally and emotionally.

You can send helpful suggestions or guide your clients through a hypnotic or NLP intervention, such as Time Line Therapy, telepathically. I did this sometimes when a client could not come in personally but was under duress. And there were other times that a session did not allow enough time to deal with an issue or a piece of it as thoroughly as I would have liked. Being able to reach them telepathically allowed me to tie up those loose ends. This technique consists of sending Reiki distant healing along with Reiki mental/emotional healing and adding hypnotic suggestions, visualizations or interventions. Sometimes, within minutes, they would call me back and report a complete positive shift in attitude!

Reiki induces trance, so it is important to learn basic hypnotic principles and formulation of suggestions to insure that no harm is inadvertently done through casual speech. The mental reprogramming technique is so powerful that whatever is the practitioner’s mind goes directly into the client’s unconscious. Therefore, it is imperative that the Reiki practitioner understands proper hypnotic languaging, respects the client’s wishes, and has a great deal of integrity. Therefore, not everyone can or should learn these advanced techniques.

As you are gathering, there is more to Reiki than either hands-on energy work or straight distant healing. There is hands-on work combined with suggestion/and or visualization. There is mind-to-mind reprogramming you can do on yourself, or on another person. There is distant healing combined with telepathically communicated suggestions, visualizations, and/or interventions. There is a drawing exercise with distant healing as well. All three volumes of my Reiki books instruct you in several ways in which integrate the two modalities effectively.  These advanced Reiki techniques, which I either originated or greatly expanded previously known Mikao Usui Reiki methods, are outlined so you can do them yourself.

Imagery and Healing

Visualizations are powerful ways to communicate internally with the inner mind.  They act as instructions or blueprint for the subconscious mind (that part responsible for our habits, emotions, memories, and all of our body functions) to follow. Images of health or the healing process can assist the body to heal. They communicate “do whatever you need to do to make this happen.”

However, imagining the problem especially with all the upset related to that problem, acts in reverse to what is desired. Also, because we are telepathically connected to others, especially to our friends and family, even our unspoken thoughts and feelings about them can negatively effect them as well.

How can you visualize to only get the desired result?

Create mental pictures showing how to rectify the perceived malfunction or problem.

The images can be symbolic. For example, if there is a broken bone, you might imagine knitting the broken parts together. If there is blockage somewhere, imagine a clean up crew going in and scrubbing the walls of any debris and hosing it safely away, or perhaps imagine a road crew removing the obstruction. If a stroke has occurred, imagine linemen running new electrical lines to get the service through, or policemen redirecting traffic around the flooded area.

Imagery can be broken down to two types: process and end-result.

Any time you think of your illness or condition immediately imagine yourself as either in process of healing or as already healed at some time in the future.

Visual images and emotion are the language of the inner mind. Your inner or subconscious mind controls all of your body functions including your immune response and healing abilities, your habits, memory, creativity, automatic pilot, psychic abilities, and emotions. Imaging is very important in healing. The emotions amplify and drive the image deep into the unconscious mind.

Gerald Epstein, M.D. points out in his book Healing Visualizations, Creating Health Through Imagery, that visualizations have been used for healing in Tibet, India, Africa, Eskimos, American Indians, and ancient Egypt. It was “an essential technique and sometimes the essential medical treatment for physical ailments, until approximately 1650, when natural science and modern medical thinking began to assume dominance.”

Visualizations for healing purposes should be done frequently (minimally three times daily) until results are obtained. Epstein recommends once before breakfast, once after work, and once before bed. He further recommends doing it for 21 days, resting for seven days, then repeating cycles.

What about doubt?

Healing imagery must be free of doubt. Hypnotists have a saying “doubt cancels out.” If you don’t really know if you can heal or solve that problem, ask yourself:

What it would look like if I could heal or solve that problem?

And if I did, how would I feel about it?

Adopt an attitude of wonder. I like the question I adopted from urban redeveloper, James Rouse:

If it could work, how would it work?

Process Imaging

This creates a picture in the mind of the next phase of the healing process. This is particularly appropriate if you are suffering from a gradual, debilitating illness, or an accident that will go through various healing stages.

For example, a person with a broken leg, ankle sprain, or knee or hip replacement, may visualize being able to stand and place his weight on both feet. After that is accomplished, the patient may visualize being able to walk a few steps with a walker, then a cane, being able to walk unaided, and finally running, dancing, playing tennis–any activity the patient enjoyed before the problem.

A person with slow, debilitating condition may imagine the illness reversing itself. What was the last thing he could do? Have him imagine that. Later imagine the step before that one, etc. This may well be more believable than going for the end result imagery.

End Result Imaging

Image yourself (or the patient) being totally healed and doing those things with comfort and joy that was once enjoyed. To do end result imaging, the patient must believe that it is possible. If not, do the next step in healing that you or the patient can imagine comfortably.

Best Time for Healing Visualizations and Prayer

The best time to do this for your own healing is as the last thought before sleep. This thought will dominate the mind until morning. Repeat upon arising because it will set the tone for the entire day.

According to Larry Dossey in his book Healing Words, the best window of opportunity to effect physical change through imagery and prayer is before medical viewing or tests such as X-rays, cat-scans, etc.

Physicists have found that the investigator cannot be removed from the experiment, and that sub-atomic particles (the real origin of disease) can show up either as a particle (mass) or a wave (energy) before viewing. They tend to show up according to the beliefs/ expectations of the investigator.

Before the test, there is malleability.

After the test, the looking, observing and interpreting fixes the event.

Prayer and Healing

While this is an excerpt from my book, Reiki Path to Transformation, Volume 3, it applies to prayer in general, hypnosis, dowsing, energy healing, telepathic healing, etc.

Larry Dossey, M.D. in his best selling book Healing Words, The Power of Prayer and The Practice of Medicine, carefully documents the scientific studies that prove that prayer works. According to his research, prayer works regardless of the distance between the person praying and the one being prayed for, or any electromagnetic influences. “Nothing seemed capable of stopping or blocking prayer. Even when an ‘object’ was placed in a lead-lined room or in a cage that shielded it from all known forms of electromagnetic energy, the effect still got through.”

He classifies prayer that works falls into two categories, non-directed and directed prayer. Both work, but some work better for different personality types.

Non-Directed Prayer

This is prayer on behalf of someone without attachment to a specific outcome. One might simply pray “Thy will be done” while being confident that on some level they are always safe and loved regardless of what happens. Non-directed prayer takes the long view of eternity rather than dwelling on the immediate crises. Yet praying for healing with “Thy will be done” does bring healing to those in immediate crises. Dossey prays “May the best possible outcome prevail.” You might also say “into God’s hands and keeping I place this ___ (person/situation).”

Directed Prayer

This type of prayer very specifically asks for and visualizes specific outcomes. Directed Prayer is combined with clear visual images of what you want plus a positive, confident feeling that it is possible. For example, if a person has a broken leg, you might imagine him at some time in the future running, playing tennis, dancing again with a smile on his face. If you use suggestions like any of those below, be sure to also include mental pictures that indicate that there has been a successful outcome.

  • “Guide the physician’ s knife to completely remove all cancerous growth.” Follow with image of smiling patient living his life in the future and saying “feeling better than ever”
  • “Dissolve and remove all tumor.” Follow with image of popping balloon, and body now vibrantly alive and healthy
  • “Make new neural pathways to carry messages from the brain to the muscles.” Follow with image of smoothe, easy movements.
  • “Reattach the pieces of bone so that it is strong and better than ever.” Follow with image of that happening and person doing whatever fun activity would assume that full healing has taken place.

Prayerfulness

Dossey relates that “a simple attitude of prayerfulness–an all-pervading sense of holiness and a feeling of empathy, caring, and compassion for the entity in need” sets the stage for healing to occur. Countless other spiritual healers agree.

Centering, letting go of other thoughts or distractions and being totally focused are also important. Some healers prepare for healing work by first focusing on their connection with the Divine, on the interrelationship of all living things, and finally, on the perfected state of being they want for their client/ patient in an unconditional loving, compassionate way. Reiki practitioners like other spiritual healers understand that they are only the conduit for the healing energy, but that the source comes from the Source of All That Is.

It is recommended that in addition to the specific concern, that you pray for healing on all levels for that individual. Love those for whom you pray without attachment. In other words, you want what is in their best interest, not yours. You may not know what is best. And especially, pray without any fear. Call in spiritual assistance.

While healing work is done with slow preparation, prayer, in general, can be as fast as a thought and a flash of the healing image. Anytime you think of the sick or challenged person or situation simply imagine a positive outcome with the words, “the best possible outcome prevails.”

Why is it that saints frequently die of awful diseases?

Holiness, empathy and compassion are abundant in saints who are noted for healing others, and yet they themselves may later suffer from the very diseases they have helped alieviate. Dossey says:

“there is no invariable, linear, one-to-one relationship between one’s level of spiritual attainment and the degree of one’s physical health.”

Some people may knowingly or not take on the sufferings of others. Empaths may focus on the problem and identify with the suffering, feeling it in their own bodies.

At the end your day, disconnect from preoccupation with both your own problems and that of others. Imagine that on some level everyone is fine and in perfect health. Break all psychic links with the sick and troubles in the world. Go to sleep feeling gratitude, thinking of someone or some thing that makes you happy. These uplifting thoughts will stay with you through the night, assisting your sleep so that you have the energy to be of service tomorrow.

Aligning Prayer with Self-Hypnosis Principles

Prayer follows the same steps as does self-hypnosis: you must ask for the positive thing that you want in the present tense (not some future time), and believe that it is possible to receive that for which you are praying. Prayer is a focused call for help and an expectation of receiving that help. State your request as follows:

  1. Word your request in the present tense, i.e., “My body is healing now” (don’t say ‘will’ heal because your inner mind does not act on future tense). Or use the good for all suggestion, “Everyday in every way I get better and better.”
  2.  Use only positive words of what you want to happen, not what you don’t want to happen. For example, instead of praying to be less tense or fearful, pray to be calm and relaxed.
  3. Word your prayer only in a way that is believable. If you pray for something and at the same time doubt that it can happen, your doubt will cancel out your request. If you cannot believe in or imagine a cure, imagine the next step that you do believe can happen. For example, if a person is in a hospital bed with a broken leg in a cast, imagine him home on crutches, using a walker, or walking with a cane. Make a picture of the best outcome you can imagine. Later, go beyond that as your belief enlarges.
  4. If you are doing directed prayer, be specific about that for which you are praying without being inflexible. Some people finish their prayer with “this or something better” or “according to my/his/their highest good.”
  5. Engage your positive emotions and faith in your request being granted. Believe that it is possible.
  6. Turn your request over to God (release it) with confidence that you are heard and that your request (quite small in comparison to creating the universe) is infinitely within the Creator’s power.

COMMON STEPS FOR PRAYER HEALING WORK

Purification

Cleanse the body with fasting, prayer, sweat lodges, juicing, bathing. Cleanse the thoughts and emotions. Be silent. Wait with patience. Isolate the self in meditation or retreat, nature, vision quests, away from distractions or ordinary life. Take corrective action for any wrong action. Ask forgiveness of others. Make restitution.

Holding a Willingness to Heal, Change or Release

Come into alignment with thoughts or actions that lead to health. Ask Spirit to remove any blocks known or unknown to your full healing now. Be willing to surrender your pet negative judgments, resentments, anger and fears. Be also willing to clean up your relationships, examine yourself honestly, eliminate your delusions, addictions and self-destructive habits.

Healing always requires change.

Chinese medicine believes that illness is synonymous with blockages of flow, with resistance to change.Remember that it was patterns, habits of mind or body repeated over time that created the problem. There is also a relationship between real or imagined unscrupulous behavior with its resulting guilt and call for self-punishment, and with illness. “The body doesn’t lie.” Ask for guidance to know what to do, change or release.

• Knowing

Know with certainty that the help you seek is present, that answers or solutions already exist, that the thing you pray for already exists. This becomes self-fulfilling prophecy.

• Union

Become one with what you are praying for. Become one with the power, wisdom, love of whom you are praying. Become one with whom you are praying.

• Making the request

Ask and listen for spiritual guidance, divine intervention, healing and help. You can also ask for a clear sign what is right and when it is right.

• Giving thanks

Give thanks that the request is already granted before the results are seen. Giving thanks sets up an attitude of gratitude which is always a blessing to us. It also gives us hope and encourages us to continue to take positive action. It strengthens our belief and faith.

• Taking appropriate action

Do your part of whatever seems needed or appropriate increases faith. It is acting as if it is going to happen.

• Illumination, or receiving the answer

Rollo May in his book,  The Courage to Create, said that mental breakthroughs or creative insight come after a period of intense concentration and then mental rest.

 • Charging

Charging means lending an emotional charge to your intention. For this you need

  • an idea,
  • an image representing that idea, and
  • emotional energy to carry that idea to fruition. I recommend you use love, gratitude, joy.

• Connect to the Source of healing energy

Send this energy to the person or situation you want to receive it. Imagine the person/s connected directly to this energy source.

• Break psychic contact with the person for whom you are praying and the problem

There are many ways to address health issues. One way is to think of it as an energy overload. The body breaks down when more demands are made upon it than the body can handle. It is a lot like a checking account. Just as more money has to be in your account to cover the checks drawn against it or they will bounce, there has to be an abundance of energy reserves for you to be healthy. And just as it costs more in fines to pay the banks and creditors if your checkbook does become overdrawn, it costs more energy, time and money to heal than it does to stay healthy. Consequently, it is commonsense to build up abundant energy reserves to remain healthy and to heal if you are not.

Figure out how to

1. get more energy in and to, and to

2. stop energy from leaking out.

Energy reserves can be built up through good nutrition, sleep, loving/supportive relationships, fun and laughter, meaning and purpose in life, prayer, meditation and spiritual practices, exercise, energy work, rest and relaxation, various healing modalities, bodywork, music, deep breathing, gratitude, beauty, pets, and more. Besides sensible self-care, what lifts your spirits? What makes your soul sing? What puts a smile on your face and peace in your heart? Focus on these.

Anything that increases your energy level will help you to be and remain healthy.

While most people think of stress as just mental and emotional issues, challenges and problems, the truth is that anything that pulls energy from your system can be considered a stressor in the larger sense of the word. This includes toxins from all sources, allergens, hard to digest foods, chemicals in the air – both outside as from pollution and chemtrails, and inside as from in the paints, upholstery, carpets, insulation, building materials, and cleaning products, water, personal care products, detergent, etc. Other stressors include EMF (electrical/magnetic frequencies), pathological earth energies, mental and emotional conflicts, indecision, unresolved trauma, stuck energies, and more. Furthermore, stress can come from happy, welcome events such as getting married, having a baby, moving into your dream home or job, or going on vacation, not just unwelcome situations.

If you already have a health issue, you need to locate and clear the root cause and major contributing causes of the problem. This can include

  • karma
  • life path
  • soul contract/lesson
  • apprenticeship training
  • psychic attack or energy vampires
  • past lives
  • imprints
  • negative beliefs and judgments
  • stuck emotions
  • genetics
  • absorption from ancestors/culture/community
  • family role
  • secondary gain
  • shadow issues
  • fascination or focusing on the problem
  • pathogens- bacterial/viral/fungal
  • injury – current or past
  • body language
  • metaphysical meaning and more.

Releasing stress frees up energy not only to heal but to revitalize your life.

Using/Making Dowsing Charts and Checklists

Dowsing, as you know, uses both hemispheres of the brain. The analytical part is a great asset to list all the variables involved. Take a piece of paper and just brainstorm any possible areas to clear or investigate. Consider making the following charts or checklists on the following topics.

1. First, create a percentage chart.

You can simply write all the numbers from 0 to 10

Or you can write (or imagine in the air) a half circle, with 0 at the far left, 50 % at the top center, 100% at the far right, and 25 and 75% mid line between those numbers.

2. Create a Master Chart for Enhancing Health and then detailed charts for each subcategory as needed.

List all of all of the things you know or suspect can enhance health, and then transfer to a chart when complete. Below is a partial list.

Enhancing Health by Getting Energy In:

  • Diet
  • Supplements
  • Homeopathic or Aromatherapy Aids
  • Sleep, and ways to enhance it
  • Relationships
  • Meaning and Purpose
  • Gratitude
  • Healing Modalities –
  • traditional
  • nontraditional
  • Fun and Recreation
  • Spiritual, Prayer, Meditation,  Other Spirit Renewal
  • Fresh Air
  • Exercise
  • Being in Nature, etc.

3. Create a Master Chart for Plugging Energy Leaks and then detailed charts for each subcategory as needed. A partial list is below.

Plugging the Energy Leaks. Clear the following:

  • Negative Emotions
  • Traumas
  • Responsibilities – delegate/rethink/let go of
  • Negative Beliefs, Judgments
  • Improve/Change Attitude
  • Toxicity – clear
  • Conflicts – resolve
  • Practical Problems – get assistance

4. Create a Chart for Stress Management Aids. List various tools such as

  • EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)
  • Self Hypnosis
  • Emotion Code
  • Infinite Intelligence Process (See Accessing More–Tapping Into the Eternal Unlimited Self book)
  •  Happy, Calming or Inspirational Music
  • Prayer or Meditation
  • Journal Writing
  • List and Set Priorities
  • Get a Buddy/Mentor
  • Get Professional Help
  • Exercise, etc.

When it comes to illness, stress is both chicken and egg.

Stress not only causes health challenges, but health challenges cause stress. Upsetting emotions and overload are a usual result. There are many decisions to be made, help to find and get to in order to heal, help to find to take over your own responsibilities, money to pay for all of it, etc. So having stress management tools that you can use is vital.

Healing involves dealing with immediate issues and practical problems as well as looking towards the long-term and permanent healing if possible.

For example, if you have a broken leg, the immediate task after setting the bone, is to figure out how to get from the bed to the toilet to the kitchen and cook, to wash and dress, etc. Next, will be how to get to the doctor’s office,  to work if possible, etc. Later, it will be to learn to walk without crutches or a walker or cane, to undergo physical therapy to regain as much mobility as possible.

Dowsing can help with every aspect of the healing process. And along with intent, a crucial aspect of dowsing, visualization is also vital. Vividly imagine both the next phase of healing as well as the desired end result. Engage your emotions as you do so, and enlarge your belief in it being possible.
